The wildflowers were magnificent. We spotted several small groups of bison (aka buffalo - they are synonymous) and they were all sitting in a circle. They were far away but John was able to get this picture.

The Bison Paddock
We made our way back to the highway and continued south toward Waterton National Park. We were almost there when we spotted signs to a Bison Paddock. Going off the road, we were treated to a very narrow, hilly road that lead through what the Canadians call a Texas Gate (we know it as a cattle guard).
The wildflowers were magnificent. We spotted several small groups of bison (aka buffalo - they are synonymous) and they were all sitting in a circle. They were far away but John was able to get this picture.
They have a beautiful enclosure, complete with watering holes.
