Our last activity in Waterton was to climb a short but steep trail to an outlook. The mountain is called the Bears Hump. The climb is about 800 feet in about six-tenths of a mile. There are 13 switchbacks. I made it!
The views were worth it. There is the Prince of Wales below.
And a passage between the lower and middle Waterton Lakes called the Bosporus.
The berries that the bears are eating were all along the trail. I could only hope that they were occupied elsewhere while we were on this hike.
