Fireweed Check


On our way to Watson Lake, it was getting late, and we decided to stop for the night at Big Creek campground.
It was very small, and high above the river (or creek).  A couple had a prime spot overlooking the river, but the place was full of mosquitoes.  The man across from us on a motorcycle had a full-on mosquito netting outfit and it looked like a Haz Mat suit!

So the only thing I can say about this place, is that it had a nice display of fireweed, which allowed me to check to see how much summer there is left.  Still a lot of blooms that haven't come out yet, so  no signs of fall yet!
