It was such a privilege to sit and watch the mighty Yukon run past our window. It was running really fast. We are close to its beginning, which starts only miles from the Pacific Ocean in Marsh Lake near Whitehorse, yet goes 1980 miles north to the Bering Sea. We've seen a lot of it on our trip, from the beginning to the crossing near the Arctic Circle.
